Cefa House, Dar es Salaam
If you prefer good accommodation on a lower budget, Cefa will meet your needs. It is situated in Mikocheni on Old Bagamoyo Road, Dar es Salaam, about a 30 minute drive from the airport. Cefa is run by an Italian organisation and we always use it as our base when we are staying in Dar.
Cefa is secure in its own grounds. Rooms are modern and comfortable, all with air conditioning and en suite facilities, and the staff are all so friendly and helpful.
Accommodation includes an Italian breakfast. Lunch and dinner are also available if required. There is also an excellent restaurant, Malaika House, a few minutes away, where you can enjoy your dinner in the open air under the palms a few metres away from the Indian Ocean, often with a live band providing entertainment.
We have used Cefa for a number of years ourselves and always enjoy its relaxed, easy-going atmosphere.
